Insurance
As a practice, Family Focus, Inc. does accept several major insurance plans including VA Medicare, Medicaid MCO plans, Anthem commercial, Aetna commercial, UHC commercial, Cigna commercial, and Tricare. Your provider may not be in-network with one of these plans. When scheduling an appointment in our office, we will ask about your insurance plans and notify you of which providers are in-network with your plan.
We recommend that you contact your insurance company to obtain information regarding the portion of the bill that you are responsible for. Payment in full of your co-pay or coinsurance is due at the time of service. We accept most major credit cards as forms of payment. To avoid unexpected charges, we ask that you verify your coverage and note any restrictions or limitations prior to beginning treatment.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. You will receive a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
